Valentina Koniukhova is a Flutter mobile developer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with over 5 years of cross-platform iOS and Android experience. She is the creator of the open-source RollerList Flutter package and has shipped apps including AimYear, Focido, despues.care, and CABA-test to the App Store and Google Play.
Hello! I'm Valentina, a passionate mobile developer specializing in Flutter and cross-platform development. I build elegant, performant apps for iOS and Android while solving complex problems through clean, maintainable code.
I received my degree in Russia and worked as an IT lecturer at a university, teaching the next generation of developers. I mastered Android native development through Udacity with a Google scholarship, and I've been working with Flutter since it became production-ready over 5 years ago.
Currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I contribute to the open-source community through packages like RollerList and share my knowledge through technical writing on Medium.
A selection of projects I've built, from open source packages to mobile apps.
A library of short, honest developer stories about what people actually built with their AI agents. Every story is executable — a reader's agent fetches the "Reproduce this" contract, applies it to their own project, and reports back, so stories carry verified reproduction counts.
A yearly goal tracker across 5 life areas — Health, Finance, Relations, Work, and Happiness. Set up to 15 aims, do a simple daily check-in (Good/Bad/Nothing), and watch your progress grow with beautiful visualizations. Includes premium features with cloud sync, web access, and AI-powered insights.
A social to-do app with real motivators. Users create action feeds, invite people as accountability partners who nudge them toward their goals. Built as a cofounder project — Instagram for actions and tasks.
A companion app for breakup recovery. Features an AI chat companion, thought offloading to break rumination cycles, humor-based release techniques, and 2-minute grounding exercises — all without judgment or toxic positivity.
An offline-first field-inspection app for industrial safety, built for a client with an existing web platform. Inspectors download the day's tasks in one morning sync, complete checklists and photos fully offline on site, and upload results after each inspection. I designed the custom sync protocol over the client's browser-oriented API.
A managed backend service that captures critical API request failures with encryption, provides endpoint reliability analytics, and enables safe request replay. Built on open-source Serverpod with flexible deployment options.
A multilingual driver's theory exam companion for Buenos Aires. Translates all 459 official CABA questions into English and Russian, allowing users to switch languages mid-question for better comprehension.
A Flutter package for creating slot machine-style roller animations. Endlessly scrolls over a limited set of items with smooth, customizable animations. Published on pub.dev with cross-platform support.
