Hello, I'm

Yidi Zhang

张 祎 迪

I am a Master's student in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University (Fall 2026–2028). I recently graduated from Chu Kochen Honors College, Zhejiang University with a B.Eng. in Computer Science and Technology, advised by Prof. Sida Peng. I spent Spring 2025 as an exchange student at UC Berkeley, and previously interned at CMU with Prof. Katerina Fragkiadaki on Real2Sim transformation for training and evaluating VLA models.

Broadly, I am interested in building generalist agents that can perceive, reason, and act intelligently across digital and physical worlds. I'm always happy to chat about research or exchange ideas—please feel free to say hi!
