Hosting for AI-built apps

You built it with AI. Now make it real.

AppHaven hosts the apps you build with coding agents like Claude Code and Codex, with the database, login and backups built in. Ask your agent to deploy, approve the setup, and go live.

How it works

Example walkthrough

Ask

Ask your agent to deploy.

Tell Claude Code, Codex or another coding agent to put your app on AppHaven. It checks the app and prepares the setup.

Approve

See what's changing. You approve.

AppHaven shows what will be set up, who can reach the app and what it costs, about €7.50 a month for this example.

Deploy

AppHaven takes it from here.

Your app is built, checked and deployed. Your agent keeps you posted until it's live.

Live

Your app. Ready to use.

Your team or customers sign in and get to work, on a real address with HTTPS.

Your app is live. We keep working.

Automatic backups, ongoing security checks and protected access. Taken care of, while you focus on your app.

  • Automatic backups

Daily snapshots with point-in-time recovery. Rewind your database to the exact second before something went wrong.

    Explore backups & recovery
  • Security checks

Your app and everything it depends on are checked continuously, so newly discovered vulnerabilities never go unnoticed.

    Explore security checks
  • Protected access

A secure login in front of your app, handled by AppHaven. Only the people you invite get in, without managing authentication yourself.

Your turn.

Create your account and ask your agent to deploy. Apps start at about €7.50 a month, billed per minute.

After launch

Keep building. Your live app stays safe.

Let your agent experiment as much as it likes. Your users only see what you merge into production.

  • Try it on a preview first

When your agent adds invoice export to the Customer Portal, the change runs as its own copy of your app, with its own database. Your live app and your users' data stay untouched.

    How previews work
  • Your agent sees what happens

The preview build fails? Your agent reads the build log itself, adds the missing dependency and redeploys. Deploy status, logs and your app's output go straight to your agent, so you never copy-paste an error again.

    Agent integration

One platform

Skip the pile of services.

Most apps end up spread over a host, a database provider, a login service and a few scripts. On AppHaven it all lives in one project.

The usual way

  • Hosting one account
  • Database another account
  • Login for your users a third service
  • Backups a script you hope runs
  • Security scanning often forgotten

And your agent needs API keys for every one of them.

On AppHaven

One project

  • Hosting
  • PostgreSQL database
  • Login in front of your app
  • Backups and recovery
  • Security checks

One account, one bill. Your agent proposes the setup, you approve it.

Why AppHaven

Your app, in good hands.

A European platform built for apps a business depends on. Here's what that means in practice.

Book a call
  • Hosted in the EU

EU datacenters and a European company, outside the reach of the US CLOUD Act.

  • ISO 27001 certified datacenters

Your app runs in datacenters certified for how they secure and operate their facilities.

  • Multiple locations

AppHaven runs in more than one location, and your backups are kept encrypted in a different location than your app.

  • Real VM isolation

No shared hosting. Every app gets its own virtual machine, so it never shares a server environment with anyone else's code.

  • Expert help when you need it

Get support from experienced engineers whenever you need it. When it's easier to talk it through, they jump on a call with you.

  • No lock-in

Built on Git, Docker and PostgreSQL. Your app runs anywhere, so you can always take it with you.

    Application portability

FAQ

What languages and frameworks do you support?

Anything that runs in a Docker container. Node, Python, Go, Ruby, Elixir, PHP, Rust: if your repository has a Dockerfile, it deploys. Next to it you commit a short apphaven.yaml file describing what your app is made of: the app itself, a database if it needs one, and any files it should keep.

Do I need to know Docker?

Less than you'd think. Your repository needs a Dockerfile and an apphaven.yaml file, and you don't have to write either by hand. We publish a plugin for Claude Code, and instructions for other coding agents, that teaches your agent the whole setup: it writes the configuration, checks it before you push, and reads the build output when something fails. Setting an app up is a prompt, not an afternoon of YAML.

How is this different from Vercel, Render, or Fly?

Those platforms are built for scale: traffic spikes, a global audience, serving from everywhere at once. AppHaven is built for durability. Your app serves your team or your customers; what matters is that it doesn't lose your data on a Tuesday because something shipped a bad migration. We're also European-operated and EU-jurisdiction-only, which the US-based platforms can't structurally offer.

What about my existing app?

If it runs in a container today and uses PostgreSQL, moving it is mostly configuration: add an apphaven.yaml manifest to the repository, add a managed database, load your data into it, and set your environment variables in the console. Your agent can do most of that with our plugin installed, and if you get stuck we'll help you through it directly.

Do I need to build a login screen for my app?

No. An app on AppHaven sits behind a login gate by default. Your users sign in through AppHaven, and your app is simply told who the visitor is. AppHaven proves who someone is; your app decides what they're allowed to do. When an app, or one page of it, needs to be reachable without signing in, you can open it up.

What if my app has a security vulnerability?

AppHaven checks your app for known vulnerabilities every time you make a change, and again every night, because new problems keep being discovered in code that hasn't changed. If we find something, we show you what's affected, how serious it is, and which version fixes it, so you or your agent can update it. It's part of the platform, at no extra cost.

Can I bring my own domain?

Yes. You add a DNS record once to prove the domain is yours, then point the domain, or any name under it, at your app. AppHaven takes care of the HTTPS certificate and renews it for you, so there's nothing to remember a year from now. Apps without a custom domain keep the address they get on apphaven.app.

What if AppHaven goes out of business?

You leave with a working docker compose setup of your app, your database dump, and your files, in a day, not a month. We mean this: portability is a feature we test, not a promise we make. It's also why we use only open standards.

Get started

Get your app off localhost.

Create your account, ask your agent to deploy, and approve the setup. We take it from there.
