Uses Twilio's SMS API to provide free on demand subscription and service to Hampton Roads Transit Riders. This aims to improve a underwater transit program that serves over 60,000 rides daily across Bus, Ferry and Train.
This service will partner with the online GTFS standard API web app that currently is available to smartphone users. Using twilio's App, we hope to bring the ability to subscribe to Real time bus schedules, directions, and location pings to assist all transit users.
