Splicify is a way to automate creation of unique music videos for songs. Search for a song, and splicify pulls related songs. Then, it downloads music videos of these songs, analyzes the videos for changes in scenes and beats, and stitches scenes together a new music video. Because splicify detects changes in scenes and beats for optimal breakpoints, it effectively automates the video creation process.
How we built it
We used opencv to analyze frames of the videos. We also used other python libraries for manipulating audio and video, and we created a wrapper web application in Flask.
