yesterday i worked on creating my Wall of Knowledge (covering the back of my door with sticky notes as a study method) and that was fun. i always enjoy doing that
went with this because i thought it’d be easier than kotlin server side rendering and i was kinda right. but now i have to implement other things which are a little less pleasant. and write form apis like i did for askkt. and connect to a database. which is a little overcomplicated for something simple and honestly not worth all the effort. i always have a secondary reason, and for this it’s so that i have some neutral project not tied to fedi or something i can point to as “look!! i can make things! i promise”
so far so neutral. i haven’t gotten all that far because i used the older .cshtml pages instead of the blazor way or whatever. im just making a simple thing where i can combine my class schedule with my calendar and look at it all in one place. and have a better way to indicate i skipped a class.
