Welcome to my corner of the Internet!

I am Alvan,

• $AGE,
• a programmer with 6 years experience,
• M. Sc. E-Government student,
• and research assistant at the uni.

I also enjoy listening to Jazz, Mugham, and playing guitar. I've probably tried too many hobbies but these stuck till now.

I dislike software written by LLMs. They are not good at writing a good maintainable software, and even if they were, it is not worth because of the ethical and environmental disasters that they are. See Real-SWE Benchmark, or listen to this guy: Internet of Bugs on YouTube. Before you comment, yes I am quite up-to-date with all the developments with frontier models and harnesses, all that BS.

No one is free until Palestine is free.

This used to be a normal 88x31 gif, but EFF for some weird reason decided it is okay to change it to a massive banner. I complained about this on this post.
