01 FREE AND OPEN · STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS

Structural analysis, in a browser tab.

An open structural-analysis platform. The solver runs on your own machine: nothing to install, no licences.

A unit load moving across a six-panel Pratt deck trussSimply supported six-panel Pratt truss: pinned at the left deck node, roller at the right. A single downward unit load travels along the deck; between panel points it is split linearly between the two adjacent nodes, so the total load is always one. Members are coloured by the solved axial force (red in tension, blue in compression, grey when the force is near zero), on one fixed scale shared by every position. The grey outline is the undeformed truss; the deflected shape is normalised for legibility.

01 BASIC

An open-source pocket calculator for civil engineering.

FREE, ALWAYS

Model, load, solve and read results in 2D and 3D, in the browser.

  • Solve frame and truss structures in 2D and 3D.
  • Read internal forces and stresses.
  • Try the advanced analyses: kinematics, section stresses, and more.
  • Load models from Excel templates, save them, or share one as a link.

02 PRO · ANALYSIS

Finite elements and complex models.

IN DEVELOPMENT · FREE

Slabs and walls, staged construction, non-linear and dynamic analysis. Several of these already work; the module is still in development.

Multi-storey building modelled in PRO. Axial-force map over a building structure.
Imports from AutoCAD drawings (DXF), Excel templates or BIM files (IFC). On top of everything Basic does, it analyses slabs and walls, lets you define materials and composite sections in more detail, work out the connections, and export the results as a spreadsheet for the calculation report. It is in development, with open access to anyone who wants to try it.

03 PRO · DESIGN

Code verification and element design.

IN DEVELOPMENT · OPEN ACCESS

Once the analysis is done, design the elements you need against the code that applies. Today it works with the Argentine codes (CIRSOC), and it is structured so that other countries’ codes can be added.

04 STABILEO AI

An agent that builds, reviews and explains models.

IN DEVELOPMENT

It works on the same structured model and the same solver you use. The AI proposes; the solver decides. Never the other way round.

The Stabileo AI panel: a request in plain language and the change the AI proposes before it is applied.
It proposes the change; you apply it

05 EDUCATION

The teacher writes the exercise; the student solves it.

IN DEVELOPMENT

The exercise is written inside the app and handed out as a link. The student solves it without the answer in view, and the answers come back to the teacher.

An exercise in Education mode: the frame on the left and, on the right, the steps with the reaction fields the student fills in.

06 PRICING

How we plan to sustain an open project

Stabileo is open source and built with its community: the code is in the open, it can be audited, and anyone can take part. We want the standard analysis tools to stay free to use, and, over time, the specialised design tools and Stabileo AI to help fund the project. For universities, the program is free in every case.

* The design modules will be free for anyone taking part in Stabileo’s development, and for public universities.

** When it becomes available, Stabileo AI will be a paid feature, priced to cover what it costs to run. For universities and for anyone taking part in its development, we want to offer the option of connecting the language-model API of their choice, so they can try it on their own.

The repository is open. Contributions, bug reports and design discussions are welcome.
