Cursor was originally building their Dot, which became Grok Bot (presumably on Elon's request).
They still own the dot.com domain. OAI cant use bots, but Cursor still owns dot.com
I think the only thing that is new to the timeline in this NY Times reporting is the employee concerns about OpenAI's development speed and security monitoring.
