I'm saddened by this whole mega push for rust into Debian at the expense of older systems. Honestly speaking for myself i am not convinced by rusts memory safety, no i am not saying it doesn't catch things but its so over hyped i don't believe people understand the tradeoffs
Its so funny by the time @gcc_rust compiles println! and prints hello world it means _everything_ works at that point.
Which means working libstd, liballoc and libcore in order to hello world!
