I'm a 1st-year CSE student from India and I'm currently starting my coding journey.
I'm looking for a small group of people around the same level who want to:
• Study/coding together regularly
• Share what we learned each day
• Discuss doubts and problems
• Work on small projects
• Participate in hackathons
• Eventually explore open source/GSoC
• Keep each other accountable
I rely a lot on documentation, AI, and websites while writing code. It makes me wonder whether I'm actually capable of understanding concepts like functions and algorithmic thinking. Does anyone else feel this way? What should I do to get a more concrete understanding of Python, or programming in general?
I have an upcoming interschool coding competition where we’re given 60 minutes to build a Python project and then pitch it to the judges.
The requirements are:
Must be built using Python
Maximum 60 minutes to build
It has to solve a real day-to-day problem
Completely software-based
Any Python libraries are allowed
No AI / AI-generated solutions are allowed
We also have to pitch the project after building it
What everyday problem do you think would make a good project for this competition? I am unable to find a problem which isn't common to find thats why asking an AI for problem won't help me win. Kindly suggest me the best ideas possible
