We are planning to add an Ukrainian Localization to MindNode. This was done with the new Xcode localization feature and would be our first machine only localization.
Do any Ukrainian speakers here have a few minutes to try a test build? I'd love your feedback on whether the translations feel natural and make sense. 💙💛
We’ve spent the summer getting MindNode ready for Apple’s new operating systems, and the update is now starting to roll out.
The biggest changes are deeper integrations with Spotlight and Siri AI. Spotlight now understands individual nodes and can take you directly to the right thought in a document. Siri can create new MindNode documents from a conversation, append content to them, and organize them into folders.
There’s also a refreshed app icon, Liquid Glass optimizations, a new extra-large widget size, and plenty of smaller fixes and improvements.
The iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro updates are available now. The Mac version is already on Setapp; the Mac App Store update is still in review and should follow shortly.

(And yes we are already working on iPhone Duo support 😊)
This is the last item on our roadmap for Next migration(https://www.mindnode.com/support/guides/features-classic-next) that we want to do. Since the iOS Quick Entry feature hat no significant difference from using the outline directly, we are not yet sure how we will bring it to the new app.
This week we released MindNode 2026.4.
This update adds:
-
Radial Layout: arrange nodes around a central idea for a balanced 360° view
-
New Node Shapes : use round and square nodes to structure ideas more clearly
-
Tapered Branches: give your maps a more organic look
-
LaTeX: add equations for mathematical ideas
Radial layout has been on our list for a very long time. We first explored it more than 15 years ago, but only found an approach we were happy with recently. LaTeX, on the other hand, came together much faster.
The update is available now on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.
We’d love to hear what you think, especially about radial layout and where you’d like us to take it next.
