some very quick thoughts this
1) openai is rumored to have fired 3 safety researchers for sharing confidential company information with a third party ai safety organization
2) my personal speculation is that they leaked the german wiki incident to the nightingale collective;
if astra is very good at robotics tasks, then you can distill it into a smaller model; this is more important than astra being able to do robotics tasks itself
you still want to be able to run your robotics model on device and at low latency
some quick thoughts on gemini 4 argon
1) if the benchmark scores are accurate then it is a good model, about equivalent to astra; particularly strong on knowledge work tasks
2) it shouldn't surprise us that google can still put out a frontier model; they have the compute and
