[Souji is sitting in a tea room, stringing a key on a blue string. Once it's on there safely, he puts the string around his neck and tucks it under his shirt.

[The smell of baking cookies fills the kitchen and the hallway outside of it. Souji's at the fridge, pouring a glass of milk, which he sets on the table. He looks over toward the oven where babbyfied Yousuke is standing, peering into the window in the oven door. Souji smiles to himself.]
It'll be a few more minutes.

[Souji looks like he hasn't slept in several days. He's sitting on the floor in a hallway with his sword propped against the wall beside him.]

[Souji's sitting under a tree in the orchard with his comm device. He's been here awhile now, and has noticed something that, to him, is really odd.]

[He might have been intending to say more but there is an apple like...two feet away from him on the ground and clearly it needs to be eaten, stat.]

[The feed goes on accidentally as Souji jostles his comm device. The only part of him that's actually in the frame is his hand, idly fiddling with a bottle of glue. The main focus of the image is a project he's working on. Various model-building supplies litter the table around the partially constructed interior of a certain Der Waffle House.]
I wasn't really thinking of it that way.
[His tone is quiet and absent, and he's clearly not addressing the device. He pauses, as though listening to a reply.]
I get feeling out of place, I guess. Having a reminder of home can't hurt.

[His other hand appears in the frame and he squeezes a dab of glue onto it. It disappears again, followed shortly by a disgusted and disappointed sounding] Yuck...
I wasn't really thinking of it that way.
[His tone is quiet and absent, and he's clearly not addressing the device. He pauses, as though listening to a reply.]

[Souji's sporting some ugly bruises along with a few suspicious ones, but he ignores them completely as he addresses the camera. He is all business at first.]

[Then his expression softens and he smiles.]

[Souji appears on the feed looking very much like he just woke up. Which is entirely possible, since being a hardboiled pimp is a lot of work, let me tell you. That, or he just has a headache from trying to figure out what all that was.]
So that's an event. [He mutters, rubbing his eyes with one hand before looking at the camera directly and speaking up a bit.] I think I might owe a couple of people an apology.

[Good job, Seta. He starts to get up, but is distracted by a half eaten cookie on the table that for whatever reason hasn't been cleared away since the room's previous occupant left.
