The All-Night Mask is an eerie-looking Mask that prevents its user from falling asleep, even if they attempt to.[1] It was initially conceived as a torture device.[1][3]
Link can purchase the Mask from the Curiosity Shop on the night of the Final Day for an extremely pricey 500 Rupees if he has prevented Sakon from stealing the Bomb Bag from the Old Lady from the Bomb Shop on the night of the First Day, making it by far the most expensive item in Majora's Mask.[4][5] If Link allows Sakon to steal from her, the Mask will not be available for purchase.
Although it has no effect for general gameplay, Link can wear this Mask in order to prevent himself falling asleep while listening to the stories of Anju's Grandmother, which will be in his benefit to earn two Pieces of Heart.
The Wind Waker[]
The All-Night Mask appears alongside the Bunny Hood, Goron Mask, and Keaton Mask behind the counter of the Nintendo Gallery, as a cameo. It can be seen hanging on the wall next to Carlov.
Trivia[]
- The price of the All-Nights Mask is the maximum Rupee count for Majora's Mask as well as its prequel Ocarina of Time, as it is only possible to buy it when the Giant's Wallet is obtained and filled. Therefore, it is one of the most expensive items in The Legend of Zelda series.
