Building 100 Counties Strong

During his first year in office, Governor Josh Stein has delivered for North Carolinians in all 100 counties, working to make the state safer and stronger. In 2025, Governor Stein delivered the best year for economic development announcements in state history with more than 33,000 new jobs and $23 billion in investment. In 2025, Governor Stein announced the forgiveness of nearly $7 billion in medical debt for more than 2.5 million North Carolinians. Governor Stein will continue working toward making all 100 counties safer and stronger.
