summary:

transfer student who was expelled from his last school bc he got arrested. almost everyone knows he has a record but not the details, so the rumor mill is wild and most of his classmates avoid him. superficially quiet and polite, but with a reckless, rebellious streak and tendency towards competitiveness. has a strong moral core; he likes to be helpful and is unwilling to turn away from anyone in need, but won't compromise his own values. his glasses are fake, because he thinks they make him look more unassuming (aka a nerd). yes, he is a dumbass.

surprisingly observant and capable of being sharp; he just says stupid shit (his sense of humor is very deadpan) and prefers to leave long-term planning to his more cerebral teammates. athletic despite the slouchy posture; with powers added in, his behavior can be outright ott. he's also probably eavesdropped on you, i'm sorry.
