2025 Grant Cycle
$30,000 to Michigan Non-Profits in 2024!
The 4Front Foundation is committed to strengthening Michigan communities by awarding grants to local non-profits that align with our core pillars of giving: Financial Relief, Community Building, and Youth Empowerment.
Through Financial Relief, we support initiatives that help individuals and families achieve long-term financial stability.
Our Community Building efforts focus on sustainable improvements—from education and infrastructure to environmental and social impact.
With Youth Empowerment, we invest in the next generation by funding programs that foster education, leadership, mentorship, and personal growth.
Together, these pillars guide our mission to create lasting, positive change across Michigan.
$40,000 on Giving Tuesday
The 4Front Foundation is committed to strengthening Michigan communities by awarding grants to local non-profits that align with our core pillars of giving: Financial Relief, Community Building, and Youth Empowerment.
$40,000 will be distributed across Michigan in 2025!
Applications open October 1st and will close October 31st.
Winners will be selected and notified by November 15th, funds will be distributed on Giving Tuesday.

2025 Trade Scholarships
$10,000 for the trades!
The 4Front Foundation is proud to support Michigan residents over the age of 17 who are pursuing careers in the skilled trades.
Through our scholarship program, we provide meaningful financial assistance that can be used for tools, training programs, certifications, and collegiate courses.
Whether you’re just starting out or advancing your skills, our goal is to help remove financial barriers and empower the next generation of trades professionals across Michigan.
Requirements
Open to Michigan residents 17 years of age or older pursuing an apprenticeship, 2-year trade degree, 4-year trade degree or certifications within their existing field. Funds can be used for tuition, tools, and certifications.
How much?
This year we have $10,000 to give in scholarships, which will be broken up into (4) $2,500 scholarships to help 4 individuals pursue their careers!
Deadlines
Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm on June 15th.

Jess Oxnevad | Executive Director
A Northern Michigan local with a passion for community.
Jess Oxnevad is currently the Senior Marketing Specialist at 4Front Credit Union, while also spearheading the 4Front Foundation – an arm of giving that truly allows donor money to be amplified.
Jess comes from a strong background in Marketing and Fundraising. She has worked with and fundraised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA, The National Cherry Festival, and now the 4Front Foundation.
While marketing has always been the day job, she can’t help but get involved in passion projects. As she takes on this new role, she hopes to create deep connections within the communities 4Front serves, and find creative and fun ways to bring more funds to the organizations that need it.
