Baseball

It's Little League season, which around here means all baseball all the time. I have great photos to post, if blogger would let me!!! But today I am posting to tell you about our one baseball free afternoon this week. It was also a minimum day at school. So guess what my kids did? They acted like kids! They rode bikes around the neighborhood until they were red faced and sweaty. They played at a friends house, they got homework done, ate snacks, played video games- and all before it was dark out! Makes me just a little bit ready for the lazy days of summer...

Packing, packing, packing

I WISH I could say that's all that is going on here. But life seems to have forgotten to pause while we move and so we are still running kids to school, baseball, t-ball, scouts, Aaron is back in school, started a new job, I am working... and on and on it goes!

That's what Blogger says when I try to upload pictures anyway. Hmmm. What to do. I may need to look into starting a new blog. New house, new phase of life, new blog?

Meatballs

A friend recently introduced me to "Anything Goes Meatballs". Since I always occasionally have at least 1 picky eater at the table this seemed like a great way to please every palate! I started off with ground beef, an egg to bind and seasoned with salt and pepper. Then each member of the family choose an ingredient to add to the mix. Because of our wide variety I separated it into 2 batches-

Finn- Cheese (shredded cheddar)
Colin - Cheez It's
Sean- Pepperoni
Cherie- Kale
Brendan - Peanut putter filled pretzels
Aaron- Cinnamon Corn Flakes
Cherie- carrots

Yes, I had 2, but someone had to be the voice of reason! Just in case this was a total disaster I put out ketchup, BBQ sauce and buffalo sauce to mask the taste if all went wrong! Of course Colin was still a bit picky, but we'll try this one again! And next time he says he's adding syrup.

Family Dinner

This has been a great month of seeing family! We loved having Tom and Sherri over for dinner last night along with my dad and Laura. The boys enjoyed showing off their rock collections!

You are the milk to my cookie

I couldn't stand not having the Valentine decorations out! So after family cleaning time today seemed the perfect time to put them on display. Thanks to my mom I have a few new things this year! I'll have to take photos of it all soon. But right now I am going to print out this cutie and put it next to photos of my little valentines.
