Blogging Blues

I love/hate technology!!  I love having the blog to look back at but I hate trying to keep it up to date!!  It drives me crazy when I can't just zip through a post and I haven't yet mastered the new format of blogspot (I know it has been like this for a long time but I haven't figured it all out yet!)  So I will keep plugging along, one post at a time.  I'm about a year behind right now but hopefully I will make some headway this summer!  So, if anyone actually reads my blog, bear with me, I will be caught up someday, ok maybe not but one can always hope!!!!

Fire Station Fun!

Brayden's friend Reed had his birthday party at the fire station.  What's better than little boys and fire trucks!

 And the girls liked it too!  Baby G. even got to join the fun!

First Day of School 2012!

And another year begins!   

Madyson's off to 7th grade

 Since school started on a Friday (so weird!) Trent took the middle school crew

 Austin's off to 8th (last year of middle school, I can't believe it!)

And I got to deliver my little guys!!  

 I had been praying all summer long that Brayden would have Mrs. Metzger and thankfully that prayer was answered!

 He also had Mrs. Pepper who we have know for years and loved him long before pre-k

 Such sweet boys!

 This was his "mom would you please go!" look that he was giving me as I was snapping pictures as I backed out of the room.  He didn't have any problem saying goodbye.  I now understand the mom's who are crying in the halls as they say goodbye.  I can't believe I sent my baby off to pre-k!

 Preston got Mrs. Sikes (yay!!). This is our third go round with her and we love her!!!!

Risky Business

Risky, formerly know as dog dog has been stolen by Brayden.  This was a dog that Nana gave to Austin when he was 2 or 3 and he has had it ever since.  For some reason Brayden has taken a liking to it and decided that it is now his!  He has also renamed it "Risky" after the dog gave away.  Austin has been a good sport and let Risky relocate to Brayden's bedroom for the time being!!

Strike!!

We started off the Family reunion fun with some bowling!! The kids got to spend time with cousins they had never met and some they hadn't seen in ages.  They all had a ball!!!

Never would have guessed!

I never would have guessed that Wisconsin would be one of our favorite vacation spots but it is!  It is gorgeous in the summer, the weather is fantastic and what really makes it is the amazing people that we get to spend time with when we are there!!

Brayden adores Joshua!  He wants to be just like him and copies everything he does!

Who knew a fan could be so much fun!

Last summer we helped them purchase a Fiat, this year it was two pianos!!

 And we were on the road again
