Unconstitutional searches have taken place in Newark, Memphis, Tupper Lake NY, Kansas City, Spring TX, Kennett Square PA, St Louis Park MN, among others. Around the country, workers and workplaces are organizing to enforce their rights.

Because these arrests are disrupting local economies, forcing some businesses to shut their doors and hundreds of workers’ families to suffer the sudden loss of a primary income earner and caregiver

Thousands of workplaces depend on over 30 million foreign-born workers, and on the 48 million foreign-born consumers who spend $1.7 trillion and pay $652 billion in taxes

Illegal searches and seizures undermine public safety and might lead federal agencies to expand their warrantless incursions into our private lives and further erode our Constitutional rights

Fighting Back Together

Fourth Amendment Workplaces is a project of the Defend & Recruit Network, which was started in 2025 by Siembra NC to bring together local groups around the US experimenting with new strategies to both defend immigrant communities and build broad alliances that neutralize attempts by wealthy oligarchs to divide us from each other.
