Overview
The 5C Hackathon will be a Tech-for-good based hackathon for undergraduate students of the five Claremont colleges. Over a 24 hour period, participating teams will innovate and create technical solutions to address real life problems faced by society, promoting positive change and impact.
The 5C Hackathon is designed to provide all students with a platform to learn and apply their technical skills, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and make a powerful difference in the community. Of course, aligning with our club’s mission, the event is geared towards everyone, regardless of prior data science or statistics experience. Additionally, students who come from historically underrepresented backgrounds, especially in tech, are strongly encouraged to participate.
