Performance monitoring

Every year, AWS produces a comprehensive assessment of its achievements, learnings and plans for the future.

How do we measure our impact?

AWS has developed a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System to understand the long-term impacts of the AWS System on our world. Through our M&E System, we gather data about the long-term impacts – direct or indirect, positive or negative, intended or unintended – of the AWS System.

AWS Research Agenda

AWS and other third parties conduct in-depth studies, including outcome and impact evaluations, to better understand the potential and real impacts of the AWS System.
