Every Purchase Supports Local Artists
Every purchase at AAC Works makes a meaningful difference in the lives of Southern Alberta artists. What might feel like a small purchase to you directly supports creativity and keeps our arts community thriving.
When you buy an artist-made piece, 70% of the retail price goes directly to the artist, with prices set by them to reflect the value of their work. The remainder helps sustain our shop, allowing us to continue showcasing and uplifting local talent.
We believe in fostering connections between artists and the community. To support this, we offer enhanced consignment rates for participation in workshops, artist features, demonstrations, and more. Artists who provide programs receive an honorarium for their contributions as well as a 5% increase in their commission rate.

Product Details
Every piece in AAC Works is handmade by an artist, so small variations may exist between multiples of the same item. We do our best to identify those differences whenever possible. Similarly, the time to make each item depends on the artist and their practice – so be patient while waiting for items to be restocked. That being said, most of our items are one-of-a-kind and cannot be “re-stocked”, so be mindful of that while shopping.
Return & Exchange Policy
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will offer an exchange or issue a credit note for your purchase. Only exchanges with receipts or gift receipts, within 30 days of the original purchase will be honoured.
All exchanges must be returned unused or in their original purchase condition. If the item has been broken due to mis-use or as a result of adapting it for something outside of its intended use, the exchange may be refused. Special orders and custom-made items cannot be exchanged or returned.
AAC Works & Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge
The Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge was established on March 20, 1958 and works to encourage, coordinate, and promote the arts in Lethbridge & the surrounding area. The region being served by the Allied Arts Council is the County of Warner to the east, west to the British Colombia border, north to Vulcan County and south to the United States border.
AAC Works opened on May 6, 2019, featuring 15 artists in the store. The mission of AAC Works is to create opportunities for artists to engage with the Lethbridge community through artist demonstrations, in-store displays, and sales. By our fifth anniversary on May 6, 2024, AAC Works proudly represented a total of 71 artists from all over southern Alberta.
