The Alberta Association of Police Governance (AAPG) is the provincial association representing civilian police governance bodies across Alberta. We support and strengthen police commissions, committees, and boards responsible for the effective governance and oversight of municipal police services.

AAPG advances excellence in police governance by providing education, practical resources, peer networks, and a unified provincial voice. We facilitate collaboration among members and key stakeholders, and we engage with government to provide informed input on legislation, regulation, and policy affecting police governance in Alberta.
