  • Academic freedom and integrity (Considering the tensions between safeguarding academic freedom and ensuring responsible, ethical research and development of materials for teaching, learning and assessment— including cases of censorship, political pressures, and threats to autonomy; Addressing freedom of speech and fake news in academia);
  • Accountability and institutional responsibility (Mechanisms for addressing misconduct and the responsibilities of universities, publishers, and funders);
  • Ethical publishing and dissemination (From any perspective: publishers, editors, peer reviewers, universities, librarians, authors and researchers; accountability and responsibility for publications when using AI; Addressing ‘publish or perish’, job security, precarity, etc.; predatory publishing, essay mills, citation mills, authorship for sale, etc);
  • Postplagiarism and the changing landscape of authorship (Moving beyond the “copy-paste” era: exploring new forms of authorship and originality in a world of AI, remix culture, and collaborative writing);
  • Ethical teaching of sensitive topics in the age of AI (For example, educating students about censorship and hallucinations by AIs when teaching history);
  • Education & training in the area of ethics and integrity (Innovative experiences and research on education and training);
  • Academic integrity in hybrid and online education (Examining new forms of misconduct in digital learning spaces, proctoring ethics, and balancing student privacy with assessment integrity);
  • Other relevant topics and innovative research related to integrity, ethics and anti-corruption activities in education.
