Blogging no more?

Hi all. So you've probably noticed I am not big at blogging lately. No excuse really. I mean I've always been busy so that's not it. I am sure I have plenty to blog about so that's not it either. Laziness? Hmmm could be. I am just not into it these days I guess. (Having said that I still SO love reading other's blogs so keep it up!!)

Oh well, just wanted to tell you all to not hold your breath. Not making any promises that I will come back. I am thinking I will just facebook blog for the most part now. You all are on FB right?? But who knows maybe someday I will surprise us all and start again.

Catch up with Pictures

Here are some of the things we have been doing lately. Emily got her green belt and nun-chucks in Karate. Abby also started karate a few months ago. I keep meaning to take a picture of both of them but keep forgeting. Such is my life I guess.

This is just a cute picture...

ImageAnd guess who lost his first tooth? Image
Image Lily has been asking to ride a caurosel for the last few weeks. The day before her birthday we took her to the mall thinking it would be a fun pre bday thing for her. We bought the tokens and started to put her on the horse and she freaked out! So we watched Isaac and Abby and then I talked her into sitting in the chair that doesn't move. Oh well. I was having flashbacks of being at Disneyland last year all over again. Image Image Image Image Then we met Chris for lunch!Image This little Princess turned 3!

ImageI think this was the first "real" birthday lily has had. I think the 1st and 2nd birthdays they really don't get what is going on, but the 3rd they realize that it's their day to be spoiled. Lily had a great day and when we got her up that morning and sung happy birthday to her she said, "I bigger now?!" (As she looked down at her self to see if she had grown in the night!) We had a fun day and took cupcakes to the park for her park friends. All day she kept asking, "It still my birthday?" For dinner she chose to go to Taco Bell! For some reason that night Taco Bell was decorated with purple balloons so we told her it was special for her birthday! We then went home and opened presents. She opened a few and then said, "Isaac's turn!" When she realized all the presents were for her she was pretty excited! She is such a good girl and loved her "Pink and Purple" cake.

Last week of being 2.....

Image

Whatever happened to my baby? She is Miss Independent these days. For the last couple months she has been frequently heard say, "No Lily do it!" In the morning she gets dressed all by herself and when we leave she is the first one to get her shoes on. They are often on the wrong feet but if it doesn't bother her it doesn't bother me. At night she races up the stairs, gets her jammies and puts them on. She buckles herself up in her carseat and I just have to tighten it. She doesn't want any help in saying prayers (although we try because they are like one sentence when she doesn't have help!), and she has to have her own set of scripture to hold when we read each night. She has been potty trained for almost a year and doesn't need any help at all in that department either. She climbs in and out of her crib (only when we tell her too). She scurries up and down the stairs playing with her siblings as opposed to being attached to my hip. She frequently disappears for large chunks of time and plays Polly Pockets in her room, AND cleans them all up when she is done!!! I love that she is growing up, but at the same time it makes me a bit sad not to be needed as much! It is also impressive how much control she can have over her emotions. She can throw a doosey of a fit but she can also snap right out of it if I ask her is she is done. She will nod her head and say, "Lily happy!" And off she goes. Image
