What is being an otaku about? It’s about the cool and the hot. Cool Robots and Hot Girls that is.
Hot. You get it? You see what I did there? Because hot is like to burn, which is moeru 燃える in Japanese, which is a homonym of moeru 萌える, to bud, which is where moe comes from? Yeah… I didn’t think so.
Anyway, here is a blog post featuring some random pictures I took of three different super robot figures that I bought over the past half-a-year that I never got round to posting. Namely, Gunbuster, GaoGaiGar and Aquarion. Enjoy.
After watching the latest episode of Madoka, I was reminded of a set of questions that I was confronted with by RadiantDreamer awhile back.
Look deep inside you. If nothing can stop you from doing what you want to do, would you do it? What would you do? Would you be more inclined to cause crimes if you were unstoppable? Are social moral chains holding you back from doing whatever you want? Are you not going out to commit crimes because you know you’ll get caught? Or because you actually are a good person at heart?

It’s the holiday season and as you can see, I’ve been letting myself go… In more ways than one. What with discounts abound at every online store, I’ve received three orders from the three different hobby stores I frequent, Hobby Search, AmiAmi and Hobby Link Japan respectively. Finally got that YF-19 to accompany my YF-21 that I got 11 months ago.
Possibly more loot on the way~ It’s gonna be an awesome but lonely Christmas this year. (^.^)
I suppose you guys are tired of girls constantly dominating my reviews, so, I’ve decided that it’s time to get MANLY. And what better way to do so than to delve into one of the most manly, super-popular shonen Action/Adventure manga epics, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Today, we’ll be taking a look at the main hero and titular character of Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, Jotaro Kujo as he is represented in Medicos’ Super Action Statue line.
