Advance File Manager lets you connect with your Slack workspace, ensuring you receive notifications if any files or folders are created or deleted on your website. This will enable you to keep a close eye on any changes made.

Advanced File Manager also provides the option to receive notifications via email; these notifications can also be sent via email and email simultaneously If you wish to configure email notifications, click here.

Let’s get started

  • Navigate to the Advanced File Manager > Settings tab in the left side bar.
  • Click on the notification tab.

  1. Under the Slack notification settings heading, click the check box to enable the feature.
  2. In the text field below the checkbox, click on the dynamic link. You will be redirected to Slack. Once connected, choose the channel you want to receive notifications in, and the webhook will automatically be copied into the text field.
  3. Next, in the events field, u can choose the events which will trigger the email notification. The options of events you can choose from by marking the checkbox are:
    • Deletion of files and folders.
    • Creation of a file.
    • Creation of a folder.
  4. Lastly, you can customize the notification you receive on your selected channel, and you can select to receive specific information about the user who triggered the selected events.

  • Scroll down, and click the save changes button.
