My favorite re-read for this holy season is “The Irrational Season” written by Madeline L’Engle. It really puts the holy season in perspective for me. My favorite musical presentation is “O Magnify The Lord” written by John Rutter. The message of the Advent is one of hope, joy and inspiration. I treasure hearing it over and over. It’s also a season of miracles. Miracles still happen these days; sometimes we just have to be still long enough to recognize them.
