Tracker Solver Interface

Solve: Create a 3D layer in the camera view based on the selected 2D layer's position keyframes.

Unsolve: Create a 2D layer with position/scale keyframes based on the selected 3D layer in the camera view.

How it works Header
  • Calculates the true 3D position in your scene using the active camera’s motion and settings
  • Works with any one-node After Effects camera, including those imported from 3rd-party applications
  • Requires a minimum of 3 keyframes to solve but additional keyframes can increase the accuracy
  • If the camera moves very little, using more 2D keyframes is recommended
Trial Limitations Header
  • Time Limited
  • Minimum of 10 keyframes to solve a 3D position
  • Cameras with animated zoom are not supported
  • Can only Solve/Unsolve one layer at a time
