The Frozen Food Foundation is a not-for profit organization that was founded to support research and education on the nutritional, safety and societal attributes of frozen foods. The Foundation also awards excellence in food safety research through the Frozen Food Foundation Freezing Research Award.

While the organization is affiliated with the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI), it is a separate entity organized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to the foundation are tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
