🏆 2026 Oscar® Selection, South Korea
🏆 Three 2026 Golden Globe nominations: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy
Based on Donald E. Westlake’s novel “The Ax,” the latest film from South Korean master Park Chan-wook is a biting dark satire about Man-su (Lee Byung-hun), a man abruptly laid off from a company he served for 25 years. Desperate for a new job, Man-su embarks on a ruthless plan to eliminate his competition — permanently. An incisive critique of modern workplace dynamics and the perils of late-stage capitalism, NO OTHER CHOICE is a thrilling, violent and wildly entertaining film.
