Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! Azalea Gardens Middle School (AGMS) continues this year ACCREDITED. We achieved full accreditation in the 2023-2024 SY for the first time since the 2011-2012 SOL results. Our consistency with our school focus "Soaring to Success by Strengthening Tier 1 Instruction Through Literacy" gave us the foundation for that success.

Our instructional focus "Soaring to Success by Strengthening Tier 1 Instruction through Literacy" continues to guide our work in increasing student academic outcomes. Students' need for consistent, high-quality reading and writing is crucial to demonstrating mastery of learning objectives. Therefore, literacy is the gateway for students to acquire knowledge across all subjects, allowing them to grasp complex concepts, explore diverse perspectives, and engage critically with the curriculum. Literacy skills foster improved written and oral communication, enabling students to express their ideas articulately and engage in meaningful classroom discussions. 

At Azalea Gardens Middle School, we are ready and will ensure instructional best practices support literacy every day, in every classroom, with every student.  For the 2025-2026 SY We are Driving Student Success from Vision to Victory!
