ATDC and GA Center for Innovation: Computer Vision for Aero Innovation
Successful teams will be given the opportunity to visit with the Jetaire leadership team, tour the facility, present and test their solution in the manufacturing environment to further evaluate the feasibility for further development and commercialization.
In this challenge, participants will have the opportunity to work with Jetaire, an innovative Aerospace company, who provides a critical safety component for commercial airlines, military aircraft and private aviation. The company has a critical need to automate a critical quality control point that ensures the finished product is free of dust and contamination that could be harmful to the operation of the aircraft. Participants will be provided an overview of the process, sample materials and some initial training data. Teams are asked to apply AI and Vision technologies to develop a prototype solution to automate this testing process.
