Hello everyone!
I found out about Dreamwidth through GSoC, and I am loving the project's concept, and its ultra-cool community.
About me: My name is Aigerim, I am a computer science and economics sophomore in a US college. I come from Kyrgyzstan - the country, which at this same moment is going through another round violent of power struggle, involving informational blockage, mass riots, and shooting. Looters have emptied and destroyed most of the department stores and offices in the capital, Bishkek. It's so, so ugly I can't find words to describe the situation.
By starting a journal here, I would like to contribute to the diversity of Dreamwidth. Cheers.
