Thanksgiving Greetings!

Well, it's been a while since we've sent out an update. Sorry about that. ImageThings have been very busy for both the families. Halloween came and went and it almost feels like it never happened around here. Luckily, we have pictures of Jared and Anita's little girls all dressed up in their halloween costumes. We thought we would put one of those on here so those of you who haven't seen Cadence in a while can see how big and absolutely adorable she is! (P.S. You can click on the pictures and get a better enlarged view of the pictures) But now, onto more recent news. As most of you may have heard, Stacie (Julie's sister) had her baby boy Riley last Monday, and Brittny (Julie's sister-in-law) had her baby girl Ashley on Tuesday. All mothers and babies are looking great! We've attached Julie's favorite picture of each baby. (Riley is the one with the mohawk!) Among that great news is our own news thImageat most of you have heard by now. Julie is pregnant! We are very excited for this great news, as we have been trying for a bit now. We would like to ask you however to keep it a secret for a little while yet. We weren't planning on telling everyone yet...but...it just happened. So if you could keep it amongst the family until Julie is a little bit further along, we would really appreciate it!! We'll keep you all in the loop as she progresses. We are a bit sad that we won't be seeing most of you during the holidays. We will miss you all and think of you often during the holidays. We figure with this new news in our family, staying and saving is more important than ever, which we're Imagesure all of you can understand. Among other news that's not so happy, Mike Burnham has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is having surgery this month on the 30th. On that same note, Diane Denney has a small spot of skin cancer and is having surgery this coming Tuesday, the 22nd. We ask that you all keep them in your prayers, even if they're on the other side of our family and you're not actually related. We figure, the more prayers the better! Well, that's the news for now. We'll try and keep you updated more regularly. We miss you all and love you very much. You are in our prayers every day!

Rubber meets the road...

Well, we've been planning for school all summer and now that it's here, it's still a challenge. The last few days, Aaron has been a little sick, so that isn't helping either. Luckily, he's been able to relax a ton lately and is starting to feel a little bit more energetic. My (Julie) classes are full swing. I've already turned in a paper, done a group project and will turn in my first sewing project tomorrow...a pair of pajama pants. They're really nice. I'll have to take a picture of them and post it just for kicks. As for other news, Aaron and I have a calling in the Nursery/Primary. There are only 3 kids in the primary, so we switch off. One week we work in Nursery, then in two weeks, we teach in Primary. It's exciting. Aaron is also on an Intramural Soccer Team. So far they have won both of their games. They have a pretty good team and I am the official "Soccer Mom". Next game I am expected to bring orange slices and Capri Suns! They have their next game a week from Tuesday. We'll let you know how they do. We hope you're all doing well. We miss you and love you all!!

PS...We realize now that in order to make a comment you have to be able to log in. If you don't want to, that's okay. But if you do, it's not a hassle. All you need is a log-in name and password. No commitments or anything.

Great to hear from y'all!

Thank you mom Denney and mom Burnham for your comments! I think this will be alot of fun if we can get it rolling! Julie and I start school this coming Monday. I think we are both excited and nervous. Our schedules are going to be jam packed full but as say in Spanish vale la pena, its worth it. Anyhow, it was great to hear from y'all.

Let's try that again...

So, that was Aaron's first entry. Now it's my turn. We're starting this blog just to keep everyone up to date with us and our life, because it's so crazy and hectic. We don't want anyone to miss out on all the fun details. We also want to use this as a means to keep us up to date with what's going on with you guys! Soon enough we'll be posting pictures so you can always see the latest and the greatest. For now, life is just getting back to normal. School starts soon, and in about a week we'll finally be back into our own apartment. Yay! We'll see what happens from there...

The beginning...

Taking this blog for a test drive is a whole lot of fun. What is this wing ding stuff any how? Webdings?? I just don't get it...Who can really read it and better yet who speaks webdings? The Webdingese?? Or those reclusive individuals whose eyes have become more accustom to the technoligcal glow of the compuer screen than the luster of the sun. Who knows? Who cares?
