February 2014
February... I still wasn't feeling the greatest and we were feeling very cooped up in our apartment. It was too cold to go anywhere and I was still not feeling the best. Not really sick, just exhausted. And I think this is the month that my back started hurting, but that could have be march, not sure it is all a blur to me. Plus I was really overwhelmed with my calling and Keven's callings. It was getting to be too much. With this baby I started craving a lot of things (I don't really ever remember having real cravings with Luke). This baby wanted Panda Express Chow Mein so bad!! So Keven finally took me downtown to get some...only when we got there they had just closed (it was only 6pm) I begged for any chow mein and they gave me the last little bit they had. It was really funny, but it did appease the craving a little. It was a fun memory. This baby basically wants any thing unhealthy, which is not good because I can't exercise, because it makes me sick.
I accidently got selected to do a pull-ups house party which was in February. I really wasn't looking forward to it, but we had two friends show up which made it actually simple and more fun than I thought.
I also was busy the last week in February planning a last minute party for Luke's birthday (birthday party on next post)
January 2014
It was a very very cold and snowy January. We celebrated Keven's birthday when we got home the cake that Daddy requested. And one day Keven and Luke built a snowman while I was grocery shopping. It was the best snowman I had ever seen, and it stayed up for a long time. We found out we were pregnant a week after I got home. Keven wanted to wait longer, because he was afraid I would be disappointed if I wasn't but I was so sure. So we bought the last two big boxes of diapers (I was hoping anyway, Luke had shown a lot of interest in the potty while we were home), a potty seat, and a pregnancy test. It was pretty funny. I was not really sick with this pregnancy at first like with Luke, but I was super tired and doing exercise, or much of anything would make me feel ill. I only heaved a few times. At night again was my worst time. January was a blur for me.
December 2013
It is so much fun to go home for the Holidays!! I was worried about flying alone with Luke and being without Keven, because it was hard in the past, but it wasn't too bad this time. Luke did pretty good on the flight, although I thought he was awful. Everyone else on the plan thought he was great. He did not sleep at all this time. We almost had an empty seat which would have been wonderful, but instead we got a grumpy guy. We had one nice man that gave Luke a new hotwheels car, which he loved. It was a long day. Luke was so exhausted but of course wouldn't take a nap when we arrived at my moms. He finally passed out for a little bit with me laying with him. Luke often needed me to sing him to sleep, like until he fell asleep, which was not my favorite. But we had a great time. Lots of playing with cousins and relaxing. (I decided never again am I doing the airplane thing and staying a long time somewhere without Keven, it was really hard). It took Luke a little bit of time to warm up to everyone, but he did have a lot of fun with all the different toys everywhere. The pictures we have are basically just of Christmas. Luke was a sport again as we woke up early. He loved opening presents and really enjoyed all of them. We did go sledding while staying at Keven's parents and that was a lot of fun. Luke LOVED it. For New Years Eve Luke got to stay up until 10pm I think which to him was really late, but he had a blast with his older girl cousins playing and looking out for him. Keven flew home the day before his birthday, but it was bad weather so he got delays after delays ended up getting home early the next morning (on his birthday) and his luggage wasn't with him. It was lost. He got a little sleep and then had to go to class to sign in and then he went home and slept. We hated not being with him on his birthday, but it was too expensive to fly home together on those dates. Luke and I stayed another week at my parents instead. We were very ready to be home with daddy though. Then a few days before we were flying home Luke got really sick. Diarrhea everywhere during the night. He was miserable and so was I. But luckily the day we flew we were blessed with no delays and no diarrhea. Also I wasn't feeling very good... and I was a few weeks late on my period, so I was pretty sure I was pregnant... but that story is for next month :)
Enjoy!
