Long Overdue Update
Yes, we are still alive! I've been terrible at blogging lately (obviously). Lately meaning the last 4+ months. One of my excuses is that I hardly took any pictures this summer so I didn't have many pictures to post. And what good is posting without pictures? But anyway, maybe I can get back into blogging. We'll see...
We had a great summer. We moved into our new place June 1.

We really like it here in Bountiful. It's great to be close to our families again. We like our new pad as well. My favorite thing about it is the yard. I love being able to send the kids outside to play. Especially in the backyard where it is completely fenced in! They love it too. We even planted a garden this year. We planted corn, peppers, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and melons. The tomatoes and peppers were really the only ones that did well. Luckily there was a peach tree, a nectarine tree and raspberry bushes here already. I even canned salsa, peaches and nectarines. (A first for me! I'm so proud of myself!)!
Trying to catch the rain
Adam turned the big 30 in June. I had a surprise party for him and he was actually surprised! I had to tell a couple little white lies, but it was worth it. It was a ton of fun and so nice to see some old friends we hadn't seen for a long time.
Movie Night with caramel popcorn. Yum
Our biggest update is that baby #3 is on the way! I'm 25 weeks along and due mid January. We decided that we're not going to find out the gender of the baby before it's born! Kind of exciting! Natalie is hoping for a baby sister though, of course.

Adam's youngest brother Paul got home from his mission in August. All of Adam's siblings came into town and we were able to get family pictures taken. Though Ryan decided he would not have a nap that day and we all paid for it! But I guess the pictures turned out okay in spite of that.

Natalie started preschool a few weeks ago and is loving it! She is a really sweet big sister. Ryan is growing up so fast. He is not a baby anymore. He definitely keeps us on our toes. What a busy boy!

We finally went camping! We had wanted to all summer long so we finally made it out last weekend. The kids loved it and Adam and I had a good time too. We loved being in the mountains and enjoyed our beautiful surroundings.
Adam is enjoying his new position at work. He's been way too busy lately though. Hopefully things will settle down a little soon.
So there's the update. Hopefully more to come soon!

All Together Again
We've all been living in limbo the last couple weeks. Adam has been in NC finishing things up at work and sleeping on an air mattress in an empty apartment while the kids a I have been roughing it here with my parents (ha, ha). Adam's dad and grandpa flew out to NC last Thursday so they could drive back with Adam. Road Trip! They made a few stops along the way and saw some cool stuff. Though they made really good time and arrived here last night! I guess they had enough male bonding and were ready to get back home.
Thanks to my brother Matt, we found a cute little house that we will be moving into tomorrow! It's got a great backyard for the kids to play in that I am so excited about. Adam wants to build a swingset to put back there as well. There is a garden area that we are going to attempt to grow some things in too. This is the first time we've had a garden so wish us luck! Or send along any good gardening tips you may have. Adam is also pretty excited about the big garage that has a work bench and tons of space for all his tools! We all are quite excited to move in and get back to "normal" life.

Springtime Fun
We have really been enjoying the weather here lately. It's been just beautiful. We've been going on bike rides and walks and last Saturday we all went fishing. Natalie and Adam caught five fish. I got to be the one to chase Ryan around. He had a lot of fun though. He just loves being outside. Adam and Natalie went fishing again this morning but decided to rent a canoe this time and fish out on the lake. Those two went while Ryan and I stayed home. I didn't want to chance anything happening on (or off) the boat with a very rambunctious little boy! They had a good time and Natalie caught and reeled in a fish all by herself. She's pretty proud of herself.

Spring is here!!!
Friday Adam had the day off so with the nice weather and all we thought it would be a great day to go to the beach. Well, we weren't the only ones with that great idea. The place was packed! Not only was it Good Friday (a holiday that almost everyone gets off here), but it was Spring Break for all the public schools. So had we thought about it a little more we probably wouldn't have gone, but I'm glad we went anyway. The kids had SO much fun. Ryan is completely fearless of the water. He would just run into it. And he didn't mind that it was cold. He and Natalie both loved playing in the mud and sand. They got an early Easter present of beach toys that helped out the fun. Ryan enjoyed over and over again a sand-covered apple. And we've been finding it in his diaper ever since! The sand that is!
We had a fun Easter as well. I hid the Easter baskets in the house, and then Adam hid plastic eggs outside. They had so much fun finding the eggs they decided to hide them over and over again. They didn't really care what was in them, they just loved finding them. But Adam and I have enjoyed their contents!
Had to throw this one in too. Doesn't he have the most adorable smile!
