Halloween

The Happiest Place on Earth!

We had such a great time at Disneyland!  We went over a month ago and the kids are still asking when we're going back!

We had so much fun!  Even Eli.  He loved The Little Mermaid ride and the carousels the best.  And a slide in the camp/scouting area (I can't remember what it's called).  He went down that slide probably a hundred times and still wanted more. 

Ryan loved Cars Land.  We all did actually.  It is so cute and fun and looks just like Radiator Springs in the movie.  He loved the Radiator Springs Racers ride the best.  Luckily we were able to get Fast Passes our last day there.  It was a 4 hour wait in line otherwise. 

 Natalie loved seeing the all the princesses. Our neighbors happened to be there at the same time so Natalie got to see and go on some rides with her best friend Olivia. Cute girls. And thanks to our neighbors for staying with our kids so Adam and I could go on Screamin' California. That's a really great roller coaster!

We played hard each day and were so tired walking back to our hotel each night.

We also really loved the World of Color fountain and light show they do at night. Another cute friend of Natalie's said it best when she described Disneyland as "magical". We really had such a fun time and can't wait to go back!

School!

 Today was Natalie's first day of 1st grade! This morning before school she said to me, "Mom, today is the best day of summer!" I hope her enthusiasm lasts through high school!

Trampoline!

I have been wanting to get the kids a trampoline for a while.  They love them and were always over at neighbors houses playing on them.  So I finally convinced Adam that we "needed" one.  It's been a ton of fun!

The Green Smoothie Monster

A few months ago I started making green smoothies every morning in hopes to get more fruits and vegetables into our diet and be healthier.  Eli really liked this one!

Adam's Birthday

 I don't know who enjoyed Adam's birthday more.  I hope he liked it as much as the kids did.  I was getting one of his gifts at Target when I saw a blow-up swimming pool for the kids.  So I got it but gave it to him as one of his gifts.  He was really confused and asked if that was what was really in the box.  I just thought it would be kind of funny.  But the kids still ask if they can play in Dad's pool!

It is a rare occurrence when Adam and I get to be in a picture together.  One of us is always behind the camera.  So when Natalie said she wanted to take a picture we decided that she was big enough to be trusted with the camera.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  Good job Natalie!  It's nice to be in a picture with my cute hubby!  Happy Birthday Adam!

How to eat a S'more

This year for our annual Rawson family outing we went to Island Park!  We stayed in a cabin that fit us all quite comfortably.  Adam brought his motorcycle and his parents four wheeler.  The kids loved it!  Adam became coolest and favorite uncle for bringing all the fun toys.  After looking through our pictures of the trip it looks as though all we did was make and eat smores!  I think we stayed 4 or 5 nights and made s'mores EVERY night.  Yum!

We went into Yellowstone one day and saw tons of bison and Old Faithful (of course!).  I wish we could have seen more, but Eli had had enough!  Other days we went to Mesa Falls, Big Springs, and Crater Lake. 

Robby and Leisha planned some Minute-To-Win-It games.  Those were alot of fun.  And even more fun was watching each other try to do them! I'm glad we all can laugh at ourselves!  The kids loved playing in the hot tub too.  Forget the adults getting in and relaxing, the kids were in it much more.  We had such a great time.  It's just so nice to get away from normal life, spend time with people you love and be in such beautiful country.

Needless to say we had a fantastic time!  The kids keep asking when we can go back.  Maybe next year???

Two Front Teeth Gone!

Natalie had been telling Adam and I for a few days that she could wiggle her two front teeth a little bit.  I guess she just couldn't wait for them to come out on their own and wanted to make losing her two front teeth a very memorable experience. While playing at recess with friends she totally biffed it and landed on her face. Her lips and chin got scraped up and swollen and her two front teeth got knocked out! Poor girl!  She was pretty tough though.  Glad she's feeling better now!  She looks so much older with her teeth gone!

Birthday Time!

It's been party time the last couple weeks at our house. Ryan turned 3 a couple weeks ago and Natalie turned 6 a few days ago. Their birthdays are 10 days apart so we get to eat lots of cake and ice cream in March. We celebrated both their birthdays by going to Planet Play. The kids had a blast but Adam and I were ready to leave long before they were ready to. Though it is much better than going to Chuck E Cheese's.



Ryan has such a fun imagination. We love to just listen to him play. His playing usually consists of Zurg fighting Buzz Lightyear or Lightening McQueen and Mater out on an adventure. He is such a fun and sweet little boy. Out of the blue the other day he said, "Mom, you are beauful". Melted my heart! He's got the greatest smile that just makes you want to smile. He is a true boy in that he loves to play outside, jump off things, fight with sticks and pester his big sister! We love you Ry guy!




Natalie is such a sweet girl and is growing up so fast. She loves playing with her friends, her new dolls, and her barbies. She also loves to ride her bike and is excited to start playing soccer next month. She is a big help to me with her little brothers. She loves kindergarten and is learning to read. Both she and Ryan love when Dad gets home so they can wrestle with him. She has a tender heart and wants to do what is right. We love you Natalie!
