Uhoh... Your friend John just called! He just finished making a video game he's releasing on Monday, but he completely forgot about making a tutorial! He asked you (very kindly), to play and learn his game, and then make a tutorial for it! He didn't plan for this though, so you'll have to get creative with the graphics commands you have access to... Good luck!
Getting started...
Play the game! Learn it, and well! There's lots of little easter eggs and secret items that will make beating it a lot easier, and the more you know about the game, the better you can teach it! There's a lot of different ways to beat the game as well, so as you play it more, you'll find easier ways to beat it, making your job easier! The game is also a little difficult...
Then...
Once you've beaten the game, and feel comfortable enough to take a shot at teaching it, plan out your tutorial! Take a look at the example we'll give you, and the requirements for making a tutorial, and plan out how you'd teach the game to a newbie! You won't have much time to work with, so boil your strategies down to a couple key points.
Finally...
Make your tutorial! This is what you're submitting! Take a look at the judging criteria, and pick some awards you want to focus on. For best overall tutorials, we're looking for a high-quality tutorial that would teach a newbie really well! For the awards, we're looking for a tutorial that really stands out in the award's category!
All three sections are designed to be pretty challenging, so don't procrastinate any of them to the very end!

Judging Criteria
-
Effectiveness
Teach the game well! Your target audience is a newbie to the game. Think of what you would have wanted to know when you first started playing! -
Polish
It's hard to code graphics well, especially with our ruleset! If you've put a lot of time into making your tutorial look pretty, we recognise that! -
Depth
There's a number of hidden features in the game, and each one helps you finish the game a little easier! The more in-depth you can go on hidden mechanics and secret features, the better!
