I took this yesterday during an afternoon nap - which never happens anymore. Because she's 5! To be registered for Kindergarten, she needed one more shot and so we did it yesterday, resulting in this little nap. She wanted me to take a nap with her, and I happily obliged.
For the last month, she has insisted that we eat at the table for dinner. She sets it every night and she's extremely particular about the way its done. All plates and glasses have to match, and she creates a lovely centerpiece. Usually involving a candle and some pinecones or Easter eggs. I was kind of annoyed at first, because I try to avoid using Grandmas table so we don't ruin it. But its actually really helped the mood and quality of our family dinner each night. She is one of a kind!
This was on a walk a few months ago. She wanted to wear her work out clothes. She wears the darndest things. And rarely lets me do anything with her hair. But I feel like the wild hair just "goes" with her personality better anyways, so I rarely force it. She is one of the funniest people I know.
