“Grief became a meditative and sustaining energy throughout the writing of this book and in my life.”

Under the Cover with Isabella Wang, author of November November

Isabella Wang began writing her second poetry collection November November (Nightwood Editions) in the wake of the death of her friend and celebrated poet Phyllis Webb, and completed the collection in the aftermath of her own cancer diagnosis. Today, she writes about the non-linear nature of grief and how her book emerged from the Novembers that connect these times and feelings.
