This is where I interned this summer. Muscatatuck NWR is in Seymour, IN and a wetland area. There are lots of birds that migrate through here throughout the year. Some of the less common birds I saw this summer include white ibises, a white-winged scoter, common moorhen, american bittern, least bittern, whitstling ducks, and black-crowned night heron. I also saw many mammals, like beavers, minks, deer, foxes, river otters, coyotes, muskrats, and groundhogs. It was a great summer and I really enjoyed myself!
