So most days when it's nice outside I take the kids to the park. For some reason my kids don't like to be home all that much. I actually don't mind being out every second of every day because it is generally easier on me. When we are out doing something fun I don't have to hear constant crying and fighting and I can actually just sit and watch them play. Here are just a few pics from our many summer park days.

One morning we went to Westlands Park, a park we hadn't been to in a long time, and the kids had the best time. There is a huge slide that you have to crawl up a wall to get to, sand, swings and a climbing tree. To my surprise and satisfaction, the kids were having a great morning acting so sweet to one another. Zach is generally a naturally nice kid, except to his sister. Well on this particular day Zach was so attentive to Julianne's needs and fears. She was too scared to go down the big slide by herself so Zach sat behind her and held her the whole way down saying, "See JuJu, it's ok. I won't let you go too fast." Then one time Julianne thought she would be brave and went up to the top of the big slide by herself only to cry out for Zach once she got to the top. Zach heard her cyring and went running to the bottom of the slide and told her he would catch her. She trusted him enough to go down by herself and when she got to the bottom Zach picked her up and told her good job. It was a precious moment.
