WEBS-NB’s Coffee Break is your opportunity to join an online network of women entrepreneurs across New Brunswick. The goal of Coffee Break is to connect women entrepreneurs, encourage collaborations and improve business skills through sharing. Hosts Amber Richards and Salma Burney – passionate New Brunswick-based professionals – are committed to connecting, supporting, and amplifying the voices of women entrepreneurs and business founders across the province. Amber brings over 30 years of experience creating and managing events through Amber Effect Events, while Salma leads as an accomplished virtual assistant and producer with a strong entrepreneurial journey and a heart for helping others grow via Virtual Girl Friday.

Provide inclusive, supportive virtual space where women-led businesses and startups in New Brunswick can connect, collaborate, and learn.

Facilitate peer-led conversation, shared resources, and inspiration in a friendly, accessible Zoom format.

Build a cohesive, province-wide network that elevates women’s entrepreneurial success in NB.
What to Expect at Coffee Break

A welcoming, informal Zoom room where women entrepreneurs—both seasoned and new—can introduce themselves, raise questions, and share wins or challenges.

Advice, encouragement, and practical ideas grounded in lived experience.

The chance to make new connections, explore collaborations, and discover local resources.

No cost—just show up with your favourite coffee (or tea!) and join a group of fellow women forging the future of business in NB.
- Each session will be one hour and will include a welcome message, introductions and a facilitated discussion prompt on recent news, trends in the business world, or other topics as chosen by our attendess.
Events are hosted on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10 AM AST .

We want to share an important update with our community. The Atlantic Canadian Craft Brew Fest will not be taking place this year, as we take time to reimagine the event and explore new ways to maximize its impact in support of the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick.
