...

Ok...Really I don't think I have ever gone so long without a post. O but don't get to excited cause this is not really a new post just a I am so ashamed of myself...I look all the time and tell myself ok today is the day---then I don't. So again maybe another day I have just not been really in the mod to post.
Although all is well at the Olson's. Brooklyn turned 4 in April and is sassy as can be. I didn't ever think that a child could act so much like her mother, but she sure fooled me. I am still working lots, as well is Nate. Hopefully soon I will decide that I want to blog again and will really update but until then...

Christmas Decorating

I am in such a decorating mood this year for some reason, most likely because Brooklyn is old enough what is going on and I want her to remember the holidays as something special. Her Bathroom is such a fun room to decorate for some reason. So we went and got new Christmas decorations, and made it look so so cute. We also decorated a tree in her room, the living room and three trees in our entry way, and put Christmas a Lil' all over the house.

This year I am also going to try to do as many things with Brooklyn as I possibly can for Christmas. I have found so many fun things to do throughout the valley this season and hope that we can do all of them...
Brooklyn loves the Christmas lights so we have been driving around town with our hot chocolate and looking at the lights. Her favorite so far has been the singing houses, that are just a couple blocks up the street from our house, she thinks they are amazing.
To start off our real adventures we went to the Festival of Tree's they had so many neat things there and the trees were absolutely beautiful. What a neat thing they do to recognize all those that have lost there lives to battles and to raise money for all those that will.

Brooklyn's favorite part was Santa of course, although I was a little nervous when she said, "That is not really Santa mommy, that is just someone dressed up." What she is to little to not BELIEVE already... My heart was aching with hurt, until I realized she was talking about the silly elf. She didn't think he was real cause she said he was wearing Mickey mouse gloves. I love my lil stinker. She was so cute she got 4 candy canes instead of the 1 everyone else got.

Hopefully we will have a great and safe Christmas season as will everyone else!!

Black Eye

Ok so if you look back through my posts to last year around the same time you will notice that Brooklyn had her first black eye. Well again she has one, this time it mommy's fault though:( I was putting her in the car and she wanted to have her stuffed animals buckled in the seat next to her so they would be safe for the drive, as I was buckling them in she dropped her play phone, and leaned down to reach for it just as I pulled the buckle and carseat and WHACK my elbow met her eye, it was changing colors within seconds, she only cried for a minute, but I still feel bad every time I look at her. Mommy is sorry boo. I love you
