We were all excited to start school this year. Nathan was especially excited to start at American Heritage. However, he reminds me weekly that he is supposed to be in 1st grade! Nathan will be attending Ms. Hobb's Kindergarten class, and Logan will be in Mrs. Taylor's 3rd grade class.

COLORADO
In August we took the boys on their first "Primerica" trip.
Our first stop on our Colorado trip was Moab. Just outside of Moab is a little trail that will take you to some real dinosaur tracks. We were hot, we were sweaty, and Logan had only thrown up twice, but we made the little hike to the tracks. The next day we visited Mesa Verde. Logan wasn't thrilled about more hiking, but he was a trooper!
We stayed in a fun town called Telluride. The boys loved the tram ride up the mountain.
We played a little mini golf.
We also visited Colorados largest waterfall.
The boys were blown away by the Broadmoor Resort.
Mom and the boys visited Colorado Springs Moutainside Zoo where we got to hand-feed the giraffes.
The boys also got to feed the chickens. What mama doesn't love the sight of her young-uns feeding some chicks?
The Broadmoor's pool was spectacular...to say the least. There was tons of shallow pool for the boys to play in, and a pretty fabulous waterslide that Logan fell in love with!
Adam and I earned our "Future" jersey's with Primerica, and were also awarded for our RVP promotion!
We were sad to have to leave such a fun resort!

Summer Fun
We always manage to have so much fun during the summer. This summer was no exception. We played outside, went swimming during a trip to St. George, and had fun learning some gymnastics! The boys are great little pals and it amazes me every day how well they get along with each other.
I often tell Nathan he should be a vet some day. He takes such good care of all of his stuffed animals, and frequently setst them up on his bed. He is always very concerned about his cousins pets.

FAMILY REUNION
We had a fun time at the annual Thomas Family Reunion. It's become a tradition to have it at the cabin. This year the lake was full enough to go kayaking. Nathan thoroughly enjoyed it, but Logan wouldn't get in the kayak. Mom even got out on the water! We enjoyed playing with cousins, doing puzzles, playing games, family pictures, and singing songs at night. One of our favorite games was Mafia! We also enjoy having sacrament meeting at the cabin, and having a special testimony meeting.
