Latest and Greatest!
To apologize in advance, this is a picture-less post. I will admit that I sometimes scoff at bloggers when there are no pictures. So I’m sorry.
Observations
1. When you are pregnant and trying to reach a water quota for the day, do not make up for the lack of drinking in the hour before bed. This will cause several night trips to the bathroom. Consider that day a waste and start your diligent attitude over the next day.
2. When you consistently buy the same brand of delicious milk then are forced to buy another brand, you are so much more grateful when the deliciousness returns.
3. Making something on your own puts so much more pride into the end result. Physical labor makes one happy.
This past Saturday I took a 3-hour glucose tolerance test at the Hospital’s Lab after fasting for 12 hours. Since I took the test at 7am, the fasting part was not that bothersome. I was more annoyed that I could not sleep in Saturday morning. This glucose tolerance test stemmed from my failing the simple glucose test in my OB’s office the previous week. The test screens for Gestational Diabetes, which I was not excited for the possibility I had it. Typically those who are diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes are overweight before pregnancy, inactive for 3 years, or over 35 years old. And I was none of those!! Well the nurse called Monday to say my lab work was normal and I was negative for diabetes. Yahoo!! Bring on the Starburst Jelly Beans.
In fact, my pregnancy is going extremely well. Nothing still to complain of and I am moving quickly along into my 31st week. I should be seeing the doctor every 2 weeks now, but I registered so normal and healthy that I can wait another four weeks. Despite my deep protest, I will post some pregnancy pictures soon. There are mobs getting angry that I do not post enough.
Sean tilled our future garden last night with his brother down in Spanish Fork, UT. The garden will be behind his uncle’s house which he has agreed to water for us. We plan to grow tomatoes (of course!), green peppers, red peppers, peas, cucumbers, and other delicious vegetables. We are all quite excited to reap what we will sow! When everything is place and starting to blossom I will capture the delight with pictures.

Shrimp have heads!
KFM- When I was younger, the only seafood I would eat were shrimp. Unlike other fish, I ate shrimp on the logic that they did not have heads. I felt I was being more 'just' because I was saving the other fish who had heads from death. Then I cried the day I found out that shrimp indeed had heads.

I SPY Answered
So all those who are curious as to the answer, here I go. After the Retirement Ceremony, we were watching the nightly news when Sean asked what was on my shirt. (In the picture, you maybe noticed a yellow object on my shirt.) To our laugh, it was a potato chip that I had ate 3 hours earlier! Yes sir, a potato chip got escorted around the party and photographed in many lasting family pictures. I am so glad this chip will be forever immortalized in our photos. I guess no one wanted to tell the pregnant woman she had a potato chip on her shirt. At least it was not on my shoulder! We had a good laugh to say the least.
