I realized the other day as the second child I have not taken many pictures of Logan.

One Week Ago
Logan happily made our family four.
At 1:15 am that morning, I felt my first contraction and I knew it was soon time to meet this child.
The waiting would be over and 10 days earlier than my due date too.
Every pregnant women's dream is to deliver early.
Logan already earned many brownie points with me.
I just had no idea he would come two hours later after my first contraction.
We arrived at the hospital and got hooked up to the monitors at 2:45 am.
The doctors were in their lounges sleeping.
And at 3:29 am, a baby boy emerged into our family.
This little dude was in a hurry to get here.
And we gladly welcomed him. Even if we got no sleep that night.
It was a tender moment when the doctor announced that this tiny babe was a boy.
We waited the entire pregnancy to be surprised.
And we were not disappointed and would highly recommend it.
There was cuddling and loving and crying for this tiny miracle.
He is so tender and so sweet.
And Logan sleeps A LOT.
Again, he is already earning lots of brownie points with me.
Logan is quite a calm baby with little to no cries. However, this is a common face he pulls.
Gratefully Sean took so many nursery pictures for me.
Meanwhile, I was still one floor up finishing delivery.
The nursery nurses were awesome women.
Grandma Jeana was there with us the whole morning.
We are still trying to figure out who he looks like. The strawberry blonde hair just makes us smile.
Grandma Forbes was another brave soul with us from the beginning.
Gavin divides his time completely ignoring Logan and completely smothering him.
Overall though, he loves his little brother.
And so do we.
